Congratulations to Cherry Tingle and all the team at Energy Coast UTC who won 3 awards, and were finalists in 3 others, at last Friday’s Golden Apple Awards. To be finalists in 6 awards for Cumbria is unprecedented for an individual school and reflects the dedication and hard-work of all at Energy Coast UTC. The 3 awards the UTC took home were:

Cherry Tingle, Principal of Energy Coast UTC, said:
‘I am absolutely delighted that all the hard work and dedication of our amazing staff team has been recognised through these awards. The staff at the UTC all work incredibly hard and support each other as a really effective team and this leads to excellent results for all our students. Through partnership with our employer partners such as Morgan Sindall we also ensure that all our leavers go on to great apprenticeships or university.’
